Our Kick Starter course is a gentle introduction to mountain biking with some trail riding and basic skills.
Duration
- The duration of this lesson is 2 hours. Please arrive early for a complementary tea or coffee.
Cost

Bike Rental
- Hardtail bike rental is included in the cost. Full suspension bikes can be added with a 50% discount. Please remember to add 3 bikes if your group size is 3 people, etc.
- Electric bike rental is charged at the full price and is valid for the full day, so you can ride after the tour. Please note we have limited availability of ebikes at present, if you need more bikes we may be able to transport ebikes from one location to another, an additional fee applies.
Terrain
- The skills are practiced in wide open spaces as we make our way around the blue and red grade trails. The terrain is a mix of forest road and trail centre single track.
Fitness
- Participants require a basic level of fitness. However, during the course there are frequent breaks to accommodate questions and answers. The focus is on leisure and fun.
Group Size
- This is a public adult group lesson and where you will be riding with other bikers of varying experience. Max group size of 8 people. Please note these are adult lessons, over 18’s only. Minors may arrange a private lesson with us.
