Directions
Ticknock Mountain Bike Trail in Dublin – directions here.
Opened in 2011, Ticknock was one of the original mountain bike trail centres in Ireland and there really is nowhere quite like it. Where else could you feel so free and removed from the hustle and bustle of daily life, yet be just 20 minutes from the capital city! With breath-taking views over Dublin Bay and beyond, we’re here to make this a bike tour to remember.
After a welcome coffee and introduction, we’ll get your helmets fitted and go through the operation of the bikes. Once you’re ready, we push the pedals and head up the first hill, all the while remembering what comes up must go down! We’ll let you get your bearings, get a feel for the bike and begin to let your mind wonder. As you get comfortable you’ll start to feel the breeze on your face as the trail flows across the hill side and before you know it you’ll be fully immersed in the experience.
With so many great trails in Ticknock, from bermy, flowy smooth trails – to rocky, technical single track; we’ll make sure to choose the right options for you. There will be plenty of photo stops and breaks to take in the spectacular countryside and views from the top of the Dublin mountains before a free flowing descent back to our base.
